Overview:

Prodapt is seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This role requires designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust backend systems and scalable microservices.
• Collaborate with various teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
• Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards and knowledge sharing.
• Keep up to date with emerging backend technologies and apply them as relevant.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues quickly and effectively.

Java, Kotlin, Python, Apache Kafka, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, Git

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of backend software development experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop scalable microservices and manage databases.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure and continuous integration setups.
• Ability to work in hybrid mode as per company policy.
